Rhonda M. Levey, Esq.
Rhonda is an experienced family law attorney having more than 30 years
of experience practicing in both the government and private sector. Rhonda
has negotiated settlements in complex divorce cases and high net worth
cases and has litigated contested family law matters in the Probate and
Family Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
After completing law school, Rhonda worked as an Assistant County Attorney
in New York prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases, termination of
parental rights, child custody, and visitation cases for the Department
of Social Services. Rhonda was the supervising attorney for the child
support enforcement and the support collection unit, where she represented
the County in hundreds of support cases each year.
After moving back to Massachusetts, Rhonda returned to her passion of working
in family law. Rhonda’s practice is concentrated in all areas of
domestic relations including divorce, paternity, custody, child support,
alimony, and post-divorce actions, such as contempt, modification and
post-judgment motions. She maintains a diverse caseload including contentious
custody battles, high net worth divorces, closely held businesses, cases
with complicated asset divisions, and cases involving children with special
educational needs and mental health issues as those issues intersect with
family law matters. Rhonda has assisted clients in reaching resolution
of contested matters via conciliation and mediation. Rhonda also has worked
with clients for Limited Assistance Representation in preparing pleadings
and for representation at court hearings Before joining Tomasino Legal
Group, LLC, Rhonda was an attorney with Tsizer Law, P.C. in Framingham.
Rhonda has represented clients with international ramifications and has
worked with counsel in South Africa and has successfully filed pleadings
with the United States Consulate in Cape Town, South Africa stopping the
High Court in South Africa from exercising jurisdiction in a child custody
matter. Rhonda has represented clients from several other countries in
the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts on both custody and divorce matters.
Rhonda has been a guest on the radio show “Talking About the Law”,
during which she discussed divorce and contested child custody issues.
Rhonda is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association.
Rhonda graduated from Framingham State College Magna Cum Laude and earned
her Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Rhonda
has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association since 1990 and
a member of the New York Bar since 1991. In 2018, Rhonda retired from
